Day of show! EVERYONE MUST ARRIVE 45MINUTES PRIOR to Curtain

Saturday May 8th 1:00 Show Dancers arrive 12:15, 6:30 Show Dancers Arrive 5:45

Children will not be allowed to arrive late or leave until the end of each show!  Last year for the afternoon show parents (with their guests) took their children and left the sold out show, half empty.  This is unfair to the students who have yet to perform.  This year everyone will be expected to sign their children in (elementary and younger) and sign them out at the end of the show.  Thank you for your understanding, we are just trying to keep safe and organized.  Please arrive and go straight to the Cafeteria.

HAIR/ MAKEUP and TIGHTS

All Ballet classes must have hair securely in a BUN.  All Bangs off the face and hairsprayed flat to the head.  All other classes (including hip hop) must have hair off the neck and away from the face.  Everyone should have light stage makeup on as the stage lights wash you to a beautiful pale white J

All Jazz, Tap and Theater classes should have Light Toast Tights and Ballet classes Should have theatrical pink (Joy of Movement can help Guide you 203-438-4555, 15 Danbury Road)Everyone should have tights on and NO underwear J  Teenagers please keep your pants above the belly button!  I have been known to pull pants very high in the wings when there is a chance something may pop out!

Volunteers

There will be a volunteer sign up list when we return from spring break.  Each class will be required TWO Mothers to help with that class.  This is for safety reason and we will not be able to let that class perform if we don’t receive the signups.  The mother will be able to see her child perform from the best seat in the house… the wings!  This is also the cheapest because it is FREE.  No NUTS of any kind will be permitted back stage.  Only water to drink and crafts that do not include, glue, markers,  or anything that will stain costumes.

Ticket Sales

Tickets will be sold at the studio starting 3pm on Monday April 26th.  An allotted amount have been set aside for children only in the matinee show.  These extra will only be left aside until Wednesday at 4pm.  Tickets are sold on a first come first serve basis and they are all general admission.  $12 in advance (matinee always sells out before show date), and $15 at the door. Children 3 and under free but must sit on lap.  All other seats will have been paid for.
