Fall 2008 Welcome!

To Our RSPA Family:
It’s that time of year again as August approaches and planning for the fall begins. At the Ridgefield Studio of Performing Arts we have been busy working on new ideas, programs, and how to better the time you spend with us.  We are so fortunate to have you coming back year after year.  Please remember that I am 100% online in an effort to form a better line of communication with all students and parents and always appreciate your input.

On our website you will find everything you need to register and be prepared for the upcoming year at the RSPA.  All Registration forms can be mailed to RSPA at 15 Danbury Rd., Ridgefield. 06877 or faxed to (203)894-1693.  We also offer an In Person Registration on August 21st from 3:30-6:30. It is best to register early by mail or fax to ensure your spot in class and students will be registered on a first come, first pay basis.  If you do not receive a phone call, your child has been enrolled in the class(es) of their choice.  We are so excited to see everyone and are anxious to meet new friends.  Please notice below new classes and information.  If you should ever have any questions or need to discuss anything, please contact me at rspajessica@yahoo.  Also frequently asked questions can be answered on our website at rspaonline.com.

Music and Movement for Mommy and Me or caregiver and child:   Our Music and Movement class introduces parents and children to the fundamentals of music.  We use a combination of live interactive songs, selected recordings of all genres, hands- on experiences with a variety of instruments, and dancing to upbeat music. This class then enhances your child’s imagination with scarves, a parachute, puppets, and instruments.  Language skills are fostered through putting literature to music and fine motor skills are developed through finger songs and puppet play.  Crawling, climbing, jumping, balancing, bouncing, dancing to musical moods then develops their large motor movements. Come join us on this great adventure with your children.  Families with multiples and families with more than one child in this age group receive larger discounts. Ages Newborn -30 months welcome. Siblings under 9months free and classes offered for older siblings at same time.
